Backstory

When creating your character, you are able to select a backstory. Each backstory mimics a different difficulty, and has you start off with varying amounts of gear, trait points, and gives you different dialogue options.

There are four different backstories: Oracle Overseer, the "medium" difficulty, Crash Landing, the "easy" difficulty, Nomadic Fracture, the "hard" difficulty, and Developer Start, the "super easy" difficulty.
