The aerogel sword is a sword made with aerogel, and is the only sword melee weapon in the game.
The aerogel sword is compatible with the Crushing Point modifier.
Attacks
The aerogel sword's attack consists of a five move combo. All of the attacks in the combo are diagonal slashes, with the exception of the fifth move, which is a downward cleave.
The damage modifier for each attack in the combo are listed below (Based off of base damage):
- 1st: ×1 damage
- 2nd: ×0.8 damage
- 3rd: ×0.8 damage
- 4th: ×1 damage
- 5th: ×1.5 damage +ragdolls on hit
The aerogel sword is quite fast, being hard to parry. Parrying with the aerogel sword almost guarantees the ability to land at least one hit on the enemy (in most cases, you likely will land more).
Getting hit by a combo from the aerogel sword will almost stunlock you, requiring a moderate amount of precision to time a block in between attacks to escape the stunlock.
