The plate carrier light is a chestplate that covers most of the main body. There are three pouches on the lower part of the chestplate, most likely ammo pouches. It is a version of the Plate Carrier Heavy that gives less movement debuffs however also gives less damage reduction. The plate carrier light reduces damage taken by a moderate amount and decreases walk speed and jump height by a minor amount. It also increases reload speed by a little.
